City of Burbank Seeks Project Management Services for New Central Library
Burbank, CA (February 18, 2025) – The City of Burbank is committed to providing modern and vibrant community spaces. As part of this next chapter, the city is seeking proposals from qualified firms for project management services to oversee the design and construction of a new downtown Central Library.
Replacing the current Central Library which opened in 1963, this modern library will serve as a dynamic community space, designed to meet the evolving needs of Burbank residents.
Qualified firms are encouraged to submit proposals through the City’s vendor portal starting February 25, 2025 until April 8, 2025. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on March 10 at 10:00 AM at the Community Services Building, Room 104. Attendance is required for those planning to submit a proposal.
Later this year, the City of Burbank and Burbank Public Library will host community meetings to gather public input on the design and features of a new Central Library. Residents are encouraged to participate and share their ideas for this important community space. Meeting dates will be announced in the coming months.
